How we calculate
Builder total = (plan price × editors + paid apps) × 12 × years. HubSpot charges per editor seat, so it asks how many people edit the site.
WordPress total = a one-time move ($190 for a standard site, $330 for store and large plans) + hosting at $9 a month from year 2. Hosting is free for the first 12 months.
Your domain costs about the same on both, so it's left out. Most builder apps (forms, bookings, reviews, pop-ups) have free WordPress plugins. If you need a paid plugin, it usually costs less than the app it replaces.
Where the prices come from
List prices for 2026 on annual billing: Wix Light $17, Core $29, Business $39, Business Elite $159; Squarespace Basic $16; Weebly Personal about $10; GoDaddy Basic $16.99 at renewal; Duda Basic $19; Webflow Basic $15; HubSpot Content Hub Starter $15 per seat.
Builders change prices often. If yours differs, type your own number in the price box. The result updates instantly.
When staying on a builder makes sense
If your site is one to three pages that never change, you're on the cheapest plan, and you don't rely on Google for customers, the saving may be small. The calculator shows this honestly: try one year on a cheap plan.
What moving involves
We rebuild your design by hand, move every page, image and blog post, copy your SEO titles and add 301 redirects so your rankings stay. Most sites are live in 3–5 days, and we'll migrate one page free so you can check the quality first.
